Using the Potty

This picture was taken right before we said good-bye to the pull ups. It was a LONG three days but it ended successfully. We have even completed using the potty in public. Color me happy.

The Zoo!

We have made many trips this summer to Lincoln Park Zoo. Brock is most interested in walking from one animal to the next. There are so many animals to look at, but he just wants to run around and visit the gift shop.

We have had a few trips to Millennium Park this summer, despite the heat. The fountian is the best and one of his favorite things to do. His favorite trip to Millennium park was of course the one where Cici came with us!

Fun at the Park!

Brian and Brock have spent many weekend mornings at Fellger Park. Brian enjoys it as much as Brock does :)

Trip to Louisville

We recently went to Louisville for a visit and to to go a family wedding. Brock had a great time making the rounds!

Summertime Fun

Summer has been full of fun times, but Brock's favorite is having friends over. Especially for picnics!

Bubbles Comes to an End

Brock has been in Bubbles Preschool classes since January. He has met lots of new friends there and loved Ms. Carly and Ms. Mikayla. Our last one was appropriately filled with lots of bubbles.

Ravinia Concert

We went to Ravinia with friends to see Ralph's World. Some snacks, dancing followed by a big nap.

Brock Moves!

Brock has moved into his new house! And he has allowed us to follow him and his toys :) He has loved it from day one and loves playing in the yard and going up and down all of the stairs. When we are out and coming home he likes to clarify that we are going to his "new house". He even participates in chores like mowing the grass.

Last Storytime Class

Brock had his last Park District Storytime Class. He is starting preschool in the fall so this was his last park district class.

Sesame Street Live

We went to see Elmo on Sesame Street Live at Rosemont Theatre. We stayed for a little over half of the show. The kids loved it!

Pump it Up

Brock's favorite place to go is Pump it Up. Almost every morning he asks if we are going to Pump it Up. Of course having Gracie there makes it twice as fun.

The Easter Bunny visited our house this year, along with our friend Grace (and baby Mimi). Brock and Grace loved coloring the easter eggs!

Brock's First Trike

Brock was lucky enough to get a new tricylcle from Cici for Christmas. We were glad to finally take it out for a spin when the weather got warmer. He loves ringing the bell.

Florida Vacation!

We had our first family vacation to Captiva, Florida in Feb. Brock loved the sand (most of the time) and was so so on the water. It was a little chilly at times but much better than the snowstorm that got Chicago that week.
